Monta Ellis scored a career-high 35 points, and made a pair of key free throws down the stretch to lead Golden State over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 105-101, on Wednesday at ORACLE Arena. Baron Davis finished with 27 points and seven assists in the victory for the Warriors, while Stephen Jackson contributed 19 points for Golden State, which has won two in a row and four of its last five games overall. Golden State is 8-5 at home this season. The Warriors have won five in a row as the host. The Nuggets are fresh off a convincing win in front of their fans. Marcus Camby collected 10 points, 11 rebounds and a season-high 10 blocked shots as Denver crushed the Milwaukee Bucks, 125-105, on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center. Carmelo Anthony finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds, while Allen Iverson finished with 24 points and six assists for the Nuggets, who have won three of their last four games overall.
