(Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards close out a three-game road trip this evening against the New Jersey Nets at the Izod Center. Washington ended a three-game losing streak with Wednesday's 108-104 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats, improving to 1-1 on the trek. Antawn Jamison had 26 points and 14 rebounds to the lead the way, as the Wizards pushed their road mark to 6-7 this season. Caron Butler contributed 25 points and eight assists, while Roger Mason added a career-high 24 points for the Wizards. Brendan Haywood registered a season- high 20 points and nine rebounds for Washington, which helped coach Eddie Jordan to his 200th career win. The Nets will wrap up a three-game homestand on Friday and had a two-game winning streak come to an end with Wednesday's 101-83 setback to the Detroit Pistons. Vince Carter had 21 points for the Nets, who are 1-1 on the current homestand and 6-11 as the host in 2007-08. Nets star guard Jason Kidd ended with two points and 13 assists, while Richard Jefferson had 18 points in the loss. The 2007-08 season series between Washington and New Jersey is tied at a game apiece. The Nets have won six of seven and eight of the last 10 matchups in the series.
